About the Recreate Centre

The Recreate Centre in Easons Hill, Shandon has been part of the NCE learning campus since 2019. The former school and community centre was taken over by NCE and rejuvenated as part of an initiative to repurpose historical buildings in the area. It now operates as NCE’s city centre training hub.

Work Initiative Northside
The Work Initiative Northside (WIN) project has been operating for 14 years, providing skills training in Customer Service and I.T. to the community. It is currently offering QQI Level 4 certification in Office Skills through a full-time course. More information on the WIN Project can be found here. 

Sport and Fitness
The Recreate Centre also houses a course offering a Diploma in Personal Training and Gym Instruction. Our location allows easy access to a nearby fully-equipped gym where practical classes are taught.  You can find out more and apply for this course here.
